Holiday Protocol Step #1
I used to gain AT LEAST 5-15 pounds EVERY YEAR from Halloween to New Year’s.
It all started with leftover halloween candy.
And Halloween candy would become Christmas cookies and cocktails..
I’d gain about 1-2 pounds per week, or about 15# in 2 months.
In other words, I was starting off the new year with an extra 15 pounds to lose and a lot of guilt.
That stopped 3 years ago.
At first I was unsure how to do it….
I had never gone through an entire holiday season without having to retire my jeans IN January and live in sweatpants UNTIL February when I could fit back into them…
And I thought..
- How will I go to holiday parties, have fun and not feel deprived?
- How will I enjoy my favorite holiday foods without needing a larger scrub size on January 1st?
Then I figured it out…
This is how I did it in a few simple steps:
I created my protocol, a week’s worth of planned meals, and a shopping list to make cooking and grocery shopping easy
I stuck to my protocol
I lost weight
