Food Journal and Being Honest with Yourself

People hate food journals. I think of food journals as data. Just like we got IRB approval and we are doing a study and we collect data. We might think that we are doing everything as we said, but then forget about the 2 glasses of wine every night, impromptu off protocol dinner date, the random piece of candy from the candy drawer. When all of that is written down, it helps us understand the data a bit better.  In this episode I also give you a bit of coaching and how to coach yourself in the moments where your brain offers you the thought "I just want it."
