Do you ever just walk in the door or come down from finally getting your kid to sleep and this wave of desire hits you… “I must go to the pantry, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
You’ve developed a pathway, initiated by the trigger of walking through the door or coming downstairs after a marathon bedtime routine.
So many of these triggers lead us to eat when we really aren’t hungry, and when you eat when you aren’t hungry…. Guess what happens? You gain weight you don’t really desire.
Having awareness of your habits, patterns, and triggers is so crucial to making permanent change.
So… What are your patterns, habits and triggers, and more importantly why are they there and are they really serving you?
