Lessons from Weight Gain
This might sound surprising….
but…
Did you know…
I've had at least 3 times where I have gained a bit of weight BACK since I initially lost the weight?
For real. I'm human too. (Crazy, right?)
I have a human body and a human brain.
During previous weight loss attempts I would have told myself “I'm messing up," “I knew I couldn't keep this weight off,” “I have no self control.” I would throw in the towel dive into half gallon of ice cream on the couch with the weight piling back on in no time.
But now I handle these small upticks in the scale in a TOTALLY different way.
I approach myself with curiosity, compassion, and love.
I use the tools I've learned on this journey….
and…
I figure it the F*** out.
And the weight just comes back off.
No shame, no drama, no empty half gallon containers of ice cream.
